Founded in 1952, the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering (MSE) is one of the biggest and the strongest schools of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). Aiming at building a world first-class school, MSE has brought together a large number of prestigious talents in the field of machinery manufacturing both at home and abroad. Currently, there are more than 210 faculty, including 3 academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 3 academicians from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 9 Thousand Talents Program scholars, 4 chief (and young chief) scientists for 973 Program, 7 winners of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 12 Changjiang Scholars Program for Distinguished Professors, 2 National Teaching Masters. The first level discipline of Mechanical Engineering of HUST ranked No. 1 in Discipline Ranking of the Ministry of Education in 2012, and got an A+ in the National Fourth Round Discipline Evaluation in 2016.

2.Basic Requirements
Applicant should be the one who was granted doctor's degree by first-class university or research institution at home and abroad with 2-year postdoctoral station (workstation) experience or 2 years working experience overseas. Outstanding candidates are not constrained by the above requirements.
